European Christmas Market Returns to St. Paul. The enchanting European Christmas Market will come to St. Paul’s Union Depot East Plaza December 1-4 and 8-11, presenting a holiday festival inspired by “Christkindlmarkt,” an outdoor holiday festival common across central European countries.

The free, eight-day, open-air event features handmade goods from local artisan vendors as well as authentic food and drink offerings. Visitors will find wooden toys, ornaments and artwork, holiday décor, clothing and more. Surrounded by carolers, dancers, musicians, Santa and reindeer, each vendor will display their wares in an atmosphere befitting of a traditional Christmas market in Europe.
