Learn more about Wakan Tipi Center and other news by joining us at Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary on Saturday, October 11th 11AM-1PM. Live Music with The Coxmen and seasonal refreshments from Urban Oasis. Guided tours of the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary will be available. Children and families welcome! This is a free event open to the public.

At noon, Representative Sheldon Johnson and Council President Kathy Lantry will be making welcoming remarks.  The LPCP steering committee and staff will also provide an update about our moving forward with plans for Wakan Tipi Center.  Tracy Sides will provide an update on Urban Oasis, an initiative of the Lower Phalen Creek Project.  Tours of the sanctuary will be available after the remarks.
