CONCRETE AND GRASS LOWERTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL WILL BRING THREE DAYS OF FREE MUSIC TO MEARS PARK
Saint Paul, MN – August 11, 2014 – The eighth annual Concrete and Grass Lowertown Music Festival will return to Saint Paul’s beautiful Mears Park Thursday, September 4 through Saturday, September 6. The free, three-day festival welcomes music lovers of all ages and celebrates our community’s multi-dimensional musical tastes. Please note there are some open slots on the schedule below. The full schedule will be announced soon.
Concrete and Grass serves as the launch of the fall performance season for The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, the Ordway and the Schubert Club, and showcases other groups from the Twin Cities’ diverse musical scene. Food, wine and beer from restaurants in the Lowertown Entertainment District will be available in the park during weekend.
